Large Groups
We welcome large touring groups, golf trips, corporate events and tournaments. If you wish to run a large event at Levin (more than 16 people), please use our Event Booking Form (click here) as early as possible to let us know your requirements. No obligation applies until we have an agreement about the date, time, and terms of the event.
Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol is restricted to the clubhouse and immediate surrounds, under the supervision of the Bar Manager.
BYO is not allowed. Anyone found with BYO alcohol on the course or club grounds will be asked to leave without refund, and may be subject to further sanctions including being trespassed from the club.
Clubhouse
Visiting Golfers are most welcome to make use of our well appointed clubrooms, which include locker rooms, bar and cafeteria. Our relaxing lounge and dining area are complimented by outdoor decking which provides scenic views of the course.
The bar is generally open from 9am to 4pm and stocks a range of affordable wines, beers, spirits and non alcoholic beverages. In cases of inclement weather or low demand, the bar may be closed early, so please call in such cases to check.
Catering
We have a caterer who works during busy times. Cooked food, soups, chips and so on are available on demand when the caterer is working. In quieter times, pre-prepared cabinet food is available and hot food such as pies, quiche and muffins can be ordered before going out to play to be available on your return. If you have specific catering requirements, particularly for a larger group, please call the club to discuss your requirements.
Our beautiful setting in park like surroundings provides a great venue for weddings, functions and other important family and business occasions. We would be pleased to discuss your requirements and make every effort to accommodate your needs.
Practice Facilities
We offer a practice fairway (retrieve your own balls), driving nets, bunkers and putting green. To prevent injury and aid performance we encourage players to warm up before play. Please note the practice fairway is strictly one-way only, from East to West.
Golf Shop
Our shop provides a valued service to our members and visitors offering golfing accessories, balls, tees, drinks and snacks and various other items.
Golf Carts
The club has 20 golf carts that can be rented at very reasonable rates from the Shop. Bookings are essential.
Coaching
We do not have a professional on-site, however Alan Currie is located in Levin and conducts coaching both at his own premises, and on course. See NZ Golf Outlet for more details.
Camper and Caravan Parking
Self contained campers and caravans are welcome at the club. Conditions apply (download our conditions). Bookings are strongly recommended.
